Wei Guo - Advertising and Design Associate

Wei is a soon-to-be third-year undergraduate student studying in the iBBA program at Schulich. She endeavors to eventually work in advertising, an objective derived from her passion for combining art and business. This ultimate goal is one of the main reasons she chose to join B!G. With her participation here, she experiments with different visual marketing tools for different clients. Unlike other art forms, she considers this a very objective process, where not only is her work required to be aesthetically pleasing, it also has to meet the client’s specific requirements and align with the overall marketing plan. Through these projects and other activities such as field trips to advertising firms, B!G has taught her valuable team-working skills, enhanced technical capabilities, and opened up many career opportunities. She is extremely excited to tackle further projects that demonstrate her passion and skill for the visual side of advertising while continuing to integrate fundamental client needs into one cohesive aesthetic identity.
